Regimental Histories: The Phillips Georgia Legion

To Honor These Men is the latest regimental history of a unit that fought at Fort Sanders. The rare portrait contains many diary and letter quotes from the veterans, maps and also a complete roster.

The decimated legion led the column that charged on the left of the one led by the Seventeenth Mississippi in the first assault on the red-clay fortress. Unfortunately, the book is rather exorbitantly-priced. Even a used copy is $30 and, so far, there is no ebook version.
